We created this blog to update our family and friends on Liliana. We have been so busy with little Lily over the last two months, that we have not had much time to update our blog.
Lily had her two month well baby appointment last Thursday. She is now 10 pounds (25th percentile) and 22 inches (50th percentile). Lily also received her first round of immunizations at her appointment. We were worried about how Lily would react to the shots. She ended up more upset over getting undressed and put on the scale than she was of the three shots!
Some of Liliana's Two Month Milestones:
*She smiles a lot! Lily's first big smile was on St. Patrick's Day. She has been smiling ever since.
* She can lift her head and chest off the floor during tummy time. Sometimes she holds her head up for more than a minute! She is very close to rolling over from her stomach to back.
* She is getting on a night schedule. Most nights Lily is in bed between 8-9pm. Sometimes she wakes for a feeding at 3-4am and is up again around 7am for the day. If we are lucky, she skips her middle of the night feeding and sleeps straight through the night!
* She is beginning to use her hands. She loves to grab onto her car seat toys and her set of plastic keys. She has even tried to grab Finnegan's hair!
* She still loves her swaddle. Lily's arms still need to be swaddled, but she can now leave her legs out while she sleeps. She is beginning to take short naps without the swaddle.
