We began our two day holiday celebration on Christmas Eve at Christina's Aunt Mary's house. We saw many family memebers we have not seen in a while since we were unable to come home last year for the holidays. Liliana was a trooper surviving the large get together which lasted late into the night. She enjoyed eating cookies while Uncle Tommy and Mommy helped her open gifts. By the time we got back home, it was midnight and Lily was exhausted from all of the excitement.
Lily woke at 8:00 Christmas morning to many toys from Santa (Grandpa Kapust) in her stocking. She had a blast playing with the wrapping paper, bags, and bows. We enjoyed a brunch and watched Liliana play with her new toys in the morning and had more family come to visit later in the day for Christmas dinner.
We were able to talk to Varun on Skype for a while on Christmas morning. We all missed him so much and can't wait for hom to be back home. We plan on having a late Christmas celebration with him when in Colorado when he returns home in January.
